Quarterly Goals Wrap-Up | Fall Quarter 2017

Hey Guys! Happy Sunday!

It's the last day of the year! I literally can't believe how fast this year has gone. It's one of those years where so much happened in such a short amount of time.

So the Quarterly Goals are being split up into two days. I'm doing a wrap-up post today and tomorrow, my Winter Goals (January-March) goes live. I'm excited to dive into these goals for you and discuss all the things I accomplished! If you guys do quarterly goals, please let me know what you accomplished in the comments!

I did not come up with Quarterly Goals on my own, I discovered this via Jenna Moreci on YouTube. Watch her videos, they're so worth it! So, without further adieu, lets get on with it!

Finish the fourth draft of VIGILANT

I did this! I completed this on October 17! I still can't believe how fast that went, but I'm so proud of the fact that I completed it!

Make the big picture changes my CP suggested

I did this for a few chapters (and we didn't get very far in). We're starting over with our drafts, so I'm counting this as a win.

Finish editing my query and synopsis, and enter #AuthorMentorMatch

I did this! I did not make it into #AuthorMentorMatch, but I did receive some amazing feedback from Kim Chance!

Finish reader KEEPER by Kim Chance and post a review on all platforms possible

Done! Finishing KEEPER took me a lot longer than I anticipated, but gosh! I can't wait to read more of Kim's books!

Print out a copy of VIGILANT to make edits

Also done! I printed out three copies and am going through and editing that way.

Post four updates on Wattpad / Make the threshold for the features program (two separate goals)

FAIL! I actually am leaving the Wattpad Stars and Futures programs at the end of the year, so this is irrelevant now.

Begin posting weekly YouTube videos, and establish a schedule

Also a fail. I tried doing videos, but finding time to film and edit was next to impossible. Hence the blog you're reading! Maybe one day!

Write the first three chapters of my English Seminar project, and outline by the end of November

Done! It's all turned in, too! I got an A in the class if you're wondering :)

Read TWO books for fun (not including KEEPER)

DONE! I read Warcross by Marie Lu and The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. SO GOOD!

I completed 77% of my goals! EEP! That's a win for the quarter! YAY!

I can't wait to let you all know what I'm doing this next quarter! Tell me how you did on your goals! ~Amanda
